The first real audience gig on this tour was at the Zeitgeist gallery in Cambridge, which is basically Boston area. Roel also played a solo set, as far as I remember, and maybe there was something else (Stelzer/Talbot perhaps). Unfortunately this night was not recorded. Players were: Peter Duimelinks, Roel Meelkop and Frans de Waard. Gig 73 15-04-2002 Zeitgeist Gallery. Cambridge, MA, USA

When we landed in the USA for our second tour this concert was not the first. The tour started in New York with a concert by Goem at Tonic and the night after that at Bard College, also with Goem (and a great set by Taylor Deupree). Then we moved to Boston, home town of mister Stelzer and mister talbot, with whom we would tour until the end of this tour. The first Kapotte Muziek concert was in the basement of Twisted Village recordstore, where we played together with Howard Stezler and Jason Talbot. RRRon was there too. Gig 72 14-04-2002 Twisted Village, Boston, MA, USA (together with Howard Stelzer and Jason Talbot)

A sort of remix project before the word remix properly existed. One side is all orginal Hands To music, and the other side reworks of it by Kapotte Muziek, Das Synthetische Mischgewebe, Merzbow, PBK, and S.B.O.T.H.I.. Great package too.

XX-04-1991

An odd double compilation released by Bart Hanselaar, who worked under a plethora of names and labels. Actually he still does music himself, drum & bass I believe and still works for customs.

An one-off gig that was part of a small festival "Performing On The Edge" which was organised by the art-academy Roel was attending back then. We played a rather short intimate set, which delivered the above great picture. My ex-wife is in audience. Players were: Peter Duimelinks, Roel Meelkop and Frans de Waard. Although I was never that much interested into film, I got one day an interesting invitation to take part in a super 8 film festival. I bought an ancient 70s small porn reel which I handpainted. To that I created a screen on which the thing had to be projected and some new music. The soundtrack is on the 'History Is What Was' LP. Film had to run 3 frames a second and last about 3 minutes. Two years I nearly had a digital copy. Perhaps one day I will really have.
